The Senate Student Life Committee is responsible for advocacy and legislation related to student life at RPI, including student rights, safety, the Student Experience division, and anything not within the authority of another Senate committee.

Per the Senate bylaws, Article IX, Section 13, the following are under the explicit jurisdiction of the Student Life Committee:

Chair: Ria Massoni

- Established Title IX and bystander intervention training requirements for club officers[^2]

- Collaborated with the Dean of Students Office to make a number of changes to the Handbook of Student Rights and Responsibilities[^3]

- Expanded Union organizations' rights in judicial proceedings[^4]

- Worked with the Dean of Students Office to address students being drugged at off-campus events[^5]
