SISman

SISman was the name given to the anthropomorphic computer mascot that appeared on the home page of SIS from 19981 to 20182. SISman was popular with students both during and after his tenure on SIS, and spawned many derivative works, the most enduring of which being a drawing in the style Shepard Fairey's Obama "Hope" poster, with "hope" being replaced by "suffer."

In 2019, a petition3 was created to return SISman to SIS, but he has not returned.
