Within the Student Senate, committees are specialized “workhorses” where most of the advocacy & policy work of the Senate actually gets done. While the Grand Marshal sets strategic visions for their Senate, committees are mostly responsible for the granular research, legislative drafting, and administrative outreach required for getting things done.
